Smart electronic signal processing as a disruptive technology within high-speed optical networks.
This talk will cover the use of smart electronic signal processing as a disruptive technology within high-speed optical networks (10Gb/s and beyond) for Enterprise, Access and Core networks. The challenges in developing this technology, particularly with deep submicron CMOS technology as well as alternative approaches will be discussed. The current industry trends and state-of-the-art technology results in these areas will be presented.
